Katasterportál (KaPor) has closed: where to look up ownership sheets today

The KaPor cadastral portal was used from 2004 to view ownership sheets and parcels. In 2022 ÚGKK SR switched it off and replaced it with the ESKN portal and the ZBGIS map client.

Why KaPor closed

KaPor was outdated, worked mainly in Internet Explorer and often went down. ÚGKK SR replaced it with new services: Portál ESKN (electronic cadastre services) and the ZBGIS map client.

The 2025 cadastre outage

In January 2025 the cadastre information system was hit by a large-scale cyber attack. The ESKN and ZBGIS services were restricted for several months and ÚGKK restored them gradually. If a state service is not working, Kataster24 shows at least the data that is currently available, and you can see the status of each source.
